Inadequate income for East Bay price tag - life coach?

We are a young family in Berkeley with an infant.  Our careers are not terribly lucrative and seem to be inadequate for the price tag of the East Bay. We are looking for some kind of therapist or life coach who can help with our finances, relocating to another place, and just someone to help organize our ideas and goals with. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Hi there--I'm not a life coach and don't have any recommendations for you on that front, but I wanted to let you know that I feel exactly the same way. I've been living in the Bay Area for 15 years and the finances have been such an ever-present struggle. I often get down on myself for not accomplishing more creatively or in service of the community, but then again I can remind myself that I've done some wonderful things and met some amazing people while keeping myself housed here. And I'm so happy to have reached a place (financially & in my relationships) where I could open up to becoming a parent and now be struggling to keep my baby housed here. The goal-post is always moving, and sometimes my perspective shifts from a position of self-assurance to one of despair.

All that to say: I feel you. You're not alone. And, if you ever want to get together to talk it out, feel free to message me. I don't have any advice, but I do have a sympathetic ear.
