Good arborist needed for very large bougainvillea

We have a lovely bougainvillea which has grown too large and needs to be cut back. It is probably best to hire a good quality arborist who is familiar which such plants rather than a tree trimmer. It would be much appreciated to have recommendations for such a person from those who have had to hire one and have had a positive experience. Many thanks in advance.

We hired Martin to trim our climbing rose back -- so not bougainvillea, but thought he did a great job.  You could ask him whether he thinks he can do the job and to give you an estimate before he starts.  Below is his info:

I have had good experiences working with Dan at Tree Sculpture and also Michael Thurman, the cycling arborist.

I have worked with the Urban Arborist. They are based in SF, and have helped me prune my willow tree twice. It is very clear they respect and understand trees, and they did a spectacular job both times. You can request a quote on their website (https://www.urbanarborist.co/).
