Environmental Heating and Air Solutions (EHAS) for Heat Pump

Has anyone worked with EHAS to replace a very old floor furnace with a heat pump? This company is Costco's partner in the East Bay. I've seen several recommendations for other HVAC vendors (Atlas, Hassler, etc) on BPN, but don't see any yays or nays for this company. If you've had any positive or negative experiences, I would appreciate hearing them. Thanks!

Hi! I recommend Electrify My Home (www.electrifymyhome.com) for heat pumps. I got a combo ducted and ductless system to replace a rusting old gas furnace from them.

I don't recommend Hassler as they are expensive and annoying.

Check www.switchison.org if you want more vendors certified by Tech Clean CA + BayREN who process rebates. And make sure to claim the $2000 IRS tax credit from the Inflation Reduction Act (thanks, Joe Biden!) for the tax year when you get your heat pump installed! There are a LOT of rebates/tax credits for heat pumps right now - message me if you want to see my slide deck on this topic where I talked about my renovations to a sustainability meetup in 2024.
