El Cerrito Spanish Immersion camp for 5 yr old?
Looking for parents' experience with the Viva Espanol summer camps run through El Cerrito Rec. My 5 yr old boy is starting kinder in the Fall, going into a dual-immersion program. He currently has no Spanish. He is super shy and not looking forward to starting school. I see the age range is large- K-6. I am wondering if it would be a fun introduction for him or would he be overwhelmed...?

My child attended this camp 2 years ago and I was not impressed. She was already fluent in Spanish though so maybe for a child with no Spanish it would be a good introduction. It's a drive from El Cerrito but Escuela Bilingue Internacional has a wonderful summer camp.
