East Bay Neighborhoods who display Xmas lights??

East Coaster here looking for neighborhoods in the east bay where a majority of the neighbors participate in displaying lights and/or decorations at night.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Happy Holidays!

Check out Alameda's Christmas Tree Lane, it's a big deal. Park a couple of blocks away, it draws a crowd. Quieter on schoolnights:

We went to Christmas Tree Lane in Alameda that was spectacular. 4th street in Berkeley was fun for commercial area.

This list was helpful, though the Berkeley spot was hard to find: https://www.510families.com/holiday-lights-oakland/

Thompson street in Alameda is a good place:)

Not a neighborhood, but the Mormon Temple in Oakland puts on a spectacular light show (and apparently is keeping up the tradition this year).

Its not a neighborhood, but the 4th Street shopping district in Berkeley has a really festive light display.

Picardy Drive near Mills College in Oakland is great! Most homes are decorated, there is a large green in the middle, and it's full of story-book homes.

Thompson Street in Alameda (which I think another poster identified as Christmas Tree Lane)!!! It's AMAZING. Less spectacular but also very nice is Picardy Drive in Oakland near Mills College - mostly tudor style houses and lots of atmosphere.

Nextdoor launched a 'cheer map' this year that is helpful to look at: https://blog.nextdoor.com/2020/12/01/help-your-neighborhood-shine-this-…
