Daycares open to infants in Downtown, North or South Berkeley
Looking for recommendations of daycares primarily in Downtown Berkeley (but open to North Berkeley or South Berkeley) to reach out to that will accept infants in Spring 2026! I initially searched on the Berkeley Parents Network on https://www.berkeleyparentsnetwork.org/daycares/search?name=&city%5B%5D=3&zip=&age=5 but did not see a lot of options for my zip code, and one of the options (Happa Baby Daycare) it turns out has moved to Emeryville.
Thanks in advance!

We used a home daycare, It’s All About Me, in south Berkeley. She is on BPN, but it won’t let me post the link.
Cornerstone Childcare Center at the First Presbyterian Church in downtown Berkeley. Feel free to reach out for more information.
Have you checked the child care referrals at Bananas? https://bananasbunch.org/
By the way - if you are planning to express milk at work (your right!) to provide to the child care, make a point of mentioning that to the care providers when you visit to be sure they are experienced and comfortable handling and feeding expressed milk. Unfortunately, not everyone is. There are good resources out there on "Breastfeeding-Friendly Child Care" if they are open to learning.
Little Lotus on MLK accepts infants! It’s a simple family run home based daycare. Nothing flashy, but they are moving to a bigger space next door in a few months and are a kind and trustworthy family.
