Considering Pacific Rim International School
Does anyone have any experience with the Pacific Rim International School in Emeryville? We're considering it for our 21 month old and hoping he can stay there through pre-school. We're excited about the language immersion, but are nervous that the curriculum may be too structured for his age.

Have you scheduled a tour of the school yet? We're sending our son starting in October for Mandarin immersion. I found the teachers to be very sweet, the children to very happy and nice to one another, and though Montessori, their MO is to allow the children plenty of space for self-exploration. I have yet to find out exactly what it is like, but you should be certain before you proceed as they do require a high degree of commitment (both financially and time-wise).
