College financial aid Cal culator
Have you or your child done at least one year of college with financial aid? (At a UC) I'm trying to figure out if this is an accurate calculator. Please try it out and post about how accurate it is from real world experience.
(Not sure of it is specific to the UC system, just to UC Berkeley or what). It's a quick process.

This calculator is specifically for UC Berkeley. Each college has their own “net price calculator.” They’re generally good estimators but if you need more accurate info, it’s best to reach out to each college’s financial aid office.
We've been pleasantly surprised with the amount of financial aid from UC contrary to what we had heard. Talk to admissions or the financial aid office at the UC campus your kid wants to go to.
