Barcelona Guide
I am an 82 year old man who will be travelling to Barcelona in June and would like to hire a guide for a day to take me around the city of see some of the interesting and perhaps out of the way sites as well as well as sample the local cuisine. I would appreciate any referrals of an individual or organization which I could contact to set up such an arrangement. Thank you.

I've used www.viator.com in India and Bahamas for individualized tours. In India I was traveling as a single woman and felt very safe on the two tours I did. More recently we did a food and history tour in Bahamas with my family. There are lots of reviews so you can get a good sense of what is included (e.g. walking tour or transport in an air conditioned car/van, private vs semi-private tour, etc.). And if you have a 1:1 tour, you can let them know of any modifications to the tour you may need. Hope you have a great time!

We have used Context Tours for years in different cities and they have been amazing. Their guides are much better and more informed than other guides. They do offer private tailored tours. They are pricey but worth it.
