Back to Art

Hello,

I am a single parent, mom of two 21&18  young men, last one ready to go to college. As you can read underlined here, I will be passing from a super busy life, taking care of my boys activities to a ME time... Say what? :) I have a great group of friends, I exercise, and dance and am a very happy person. But, there is one thing that I have to go back and do again, ART. It was pART of my life, I graduated in Sculpture in Italy, but once I got pregnant of the first boy, that was it. And am so eager to restart again. I am ready! Please guide me about where to work with more adult parents, on clay and plaster- learn and cook my pieces, without being so expensive. Thnx!!!

Try Studio One. They have inexpensive clay classes and also open studios you can use. Good for you for getting back to art!

Good for you! The world needs more beauty right now :)) Try the Richmond Art Center or ASUC. Also, if you don't mind driving, the City of Walnut Creek has lots of community art classes...

I love Laney College in Oakland.  Great ceramic studio, teachers and a wide range of student population in age and diversity.  Sign up now because it's so popular the classes fill up.  School starts Aug. 22
