Apple Hill Recommendations

My family is planning a weekend trip to Apple Hill near Placerville.  We've been to the area before, but not since our kiddo (currently 1 year old) was born.  What are your favorite Apple Hill spots to visit with kids at this time of year?

I have some family in Placerville, I don’t know the specific places but I did hear there’s no apples this year. Sorry to be a bummer I’m sure it will still be beautiful 🤩

Hi, we've been going every year since our kiddo turned 2. High Hill Ranch gets crowded but is good for kids and has lots of activity. It is near Fudge Factory (same parking). There is also Hidden Star which has a "Kids Town" in back, which is toddler sized houses to go in and out - just keep an eye on your toddler. For lunch, Larsen's is great with lots of options and also has a big lawn across the street where you can picnic - lots of room to run around if it's hard to sit still, just be aware that they are closed on Saturdays (Lawn is still there though, if you brought a picnic with you or want to get running around time). I like O'Halloran's because they have a huge pumpkin patch; they also sell apples in bins low enough to the ground that a toddler can see/reach.
