Albany YMCA Preschool Reviews?
Hi Folks!
I've just started a part-time job located mainly at the Albany Senior Center, and am considering moving my 4 year old to the Albany YMCA preschool. Does anyone have recent experience there that they'd be willing to share? I'm not finding much in the way of reviews online.
Sammy is currently at Casa Cerrito, which we do love - great diversity of kids, fun & laid-back teachers, etc. The YMCA is around the corner from my new office and would be about $100/month less, but would also make my work hours a bit tighter (program is 8:30am-2pm compared to Casa Cerrito's 9am-5pm), so I'm on the fence, but interested to hear what you think. We'd likely drop a day of preschool if he stays at Casa Cerrito, which now that I think of it would make the price pretty comparable...either way I'd love reviews!

I often see the Albany preschool toddlers as I typically attend their kindergym which is right beside the preschool.
The toddlers seem very happy and are always busy with an activity. I have also had a daughter attending camp since she was four years old and she has loved every one of them.
The teachers/counselors do you go through a good training program and I have nothing but the highest regard for them.

Did you check availability at the little preschool next door to Sr Center? It's been there 80 years.
