Advice on Life Insurance
I'm looking for an affordable short-term life insurance policy for my husband and myself, just to cover the years when my kid is young and I am the caregiver (as in- not working). Do any of you have recommendations for reputable life insurance agents and companies? I'm hoping to set it all up before my due date in late November. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

My husband and I set up short term life insurance. We worked with Dave Rozzi (DRozzi at risk-strategies.com), and thought he was very helpful and easy to work with!
We use Northwestern Mutual and our agent is Irina McGrath. She is phenomenal, I completely trust her and has never steered us wrong. We set up short term (20year) life insurance policies for my husband and myself to get us through the rest of our mortgage and until our son is an adult, we also got a whole.life insurance policy for our son with her and I converted my 401k and Roth IRA with her as well. I would highly recommend her!
Nini yang (408-464-7563). She did my plans. She has her insurance, securities, and tax licenses. Has a great handle on how everything fits together.
We also did Northwest Mutual. Pre-kids I had a short term policy through Genworth also (to cover student loans in the event something happened to me so my spouse/family wouldn't be on the hook) and that was very affordable also but I could not always get the information I needed. Northwest Mutual has been great.
