accountant for basic partnership taxes?

Several colleagues and I created a general partnership to run a teaching program together this past year. We earned under $20k in income and had only nominal expenditures. I'm looking for an accountant who can handle our taxes and/or walk me through how we do it ourselves. I've been quoted around $2k for this which seems high considering how little income we have, and the fact that it's essentially a pass-through -- but obviously I am not an accountant or I wouldn't be posting here! Appreciate any recommendations, including for online services or DIY programs.

Hi, how many people in the partnership? The partnership has to issue K1’s to each partner and hence creates a lot of work from a administrative perspective. So the income doesn’t drive the cost since a lot of the work is fixed, federal and state returns with k1s for both.

I have used Brass Taxes for years. They cater to smaller incomes with sliding scale prices, so you could try contacting them to see how much they would charge you. They are not accountants, but they help teach you how to help them file for you. https://brasstaxes.com/
