7th grader struggling at Albany Middle school
My 13 yr old daughter is having a very rough year at Albany Middle school. She is struggling socially and even refusing to go to school.
Is anyone else here in a similar boat? Or perhaps had such problems in the past?

I have an AMS alum now at AHS. I would suggest talking with her counselor, ASAP. We had many interactions with my child's counselor because they had a 504, and I found their counselor very caring. I believe there is also a bonus counselor for mental health.
The other thing is I'm wondering if they are new to AMS this year, or did they attend in 6th as well? It's a VERY cliquey school and I observed it took a couple years to make even casual friends for a more introverted student.
