Thousand Oaks DayCare: Opening in August or September

Thousand Oaks Daycare is currently enrolling for an opening for a child 12 months or older. 

This is a small, nurturing family daycare with a separate floor of the house dedicated to the children's space. Thousand Oaks Daycare has been open for over 14 years. The program focuses on children's social-emotional development and learning through play. Themes are guided by children's interests. Children spend time outside daily in the garden, gravel pit, sand table, and on the trikes. We take occasional field trips to the park, to the North Berkeley library and to feed chickens. There is classical music, cooking, arts and crafts, and lots of imaginary play. This is a first step for children learning to be part of a group and socialising in a very gentle environment at the rhythm of each child.
