Julie provided interim care for our two girls over that last 12 years, starting when our oldest was just a toddler. We couldn't have been more lucky to find someone as thoughtful, warm and caring for them as Julie. When she was with the girls, she became a second mother to them, ensuring their primary needs were met and also engaging with them through thoughtful conversation and activities. She is incredibly reliable–always available, always punctual, with solid communications–and works with the family to ensure all needs are met at whatever level they are needed. She is also just a wonderful, warm, thoughtful and lovely person with a heart of gold. Spending time with Julie is a wholesome gift.

I interviewed dozens of caregivers before choosing Julie - I'm an educator myself. I never regretted my choice.  She is a wonderful communicator, a loving presence, and someone who has a wonderful balance of offering my child meaningful activities but at the same time letting my child take a lot of initiative.  She has the gift of being both gentle and firm when needed.  She is capable of handling complex instructions, mature, wise, creative, and artistic.  She has done everything from managing complex medical needs to making playdough, from taking my daughter on outings exploring nature to playing backyard chase.  Her mix of excellent communication skills and dependability were a gift, and she fit well with my family's RIE/Waldorf/Alfie-Kohn-inspired orientation. Her outdoor space is a little piece of heaven, and she herself is truly a gem.
