KinderGuitar Berkeley

KinderGuitar is a Bay Area-based music education program that provides a wonderful introduction to the guitar for children ages 5 and up. Young students experience early success and have fun, while the age appropriate curriculum guides them to complete musical development.

Bay Area guitarist Karl Evangelista started KinderGuitar Berkeley in 2011 at Piedmont Piano Company. The program has since expanded to include students throughout the East Bay, convenient for Albany, El Cerrito, Richmond, San Pablo, Alameda, and Oakland neighborhoods. Evangelista also coordinates the music program at San Francisco Waldorf High School and lectures at San Francisco State University.

KinderGuitar promotes collaboration and parental involvement. Classes are offered in private and semi-private lesson formats, with both in-person and online options available. Two seasonal recitals are programmed into each year.
