Building is working together to discern, understand, and produce solutions for learning challenges. Building improves resilience, self-esteem, study skills, and self-knowledge. The Path is building core academic skills like fluent reading, vocabulary acquisition, and writing mechanics followed by the comprehension and expression of knowledge and ideas. The Path builds executive function skills for work organization, management, and long-term learning. Learning is a joyful and essential human endeavor. Engaged Learning opens and expands curiosity, self-expression, and confident engagement with assignments. Engaged Learning is the sustained completion of complex academic work.
