mechanic for Ford C-Max Energi
I am looking for an honest and reasonable mechanic to work on a 2016 Ford C-Max Energi (hybrid-electric). I bought the car at Hilltop Ford and am very disheartened. I prefer a non-dealer who handles these cars or another dealer.

I also have a 2016 cmax (hybrid only) and had multiple poor experiences with the Hilltop dealer/repair center. Ugh! I had a much better experience at the San Leandro Ford complex but ended up the last few years at Orinda Motors which was convenient for me. There are probably less expensive places AND they have been consistent and reliable with excellent service and workmanship. They get it done right the first time. Good Luck! Love my cmax and sorry they have been discontinued.
I have a Fusion plug-in hybrid, same technology as the CMax and found there were few private mechanics who could handle the dual electric/gas combo. I have had a very good experience with the Ford dealer in Walnut Creek and have since found out they are the top dealer of the new electric Mustang in the country. Their repair shop does a ton of business, with a lot of CHP and police cars too. .
