ISO Great Dog Sitter

We are looking for a great dog sitter when we travel overnight and can't take our dog.  We have one regular go-to dog sitter, but we need a couple more options when she is not available.  Preferably it's a place where we can drop our dog off, but we're open to someone staying at our house too.  Our dog is a sweet 3 year old golden retriever around 55 pounds. Thank you!

My dad had a great experience with his yellow Lab with Linnea in Rockridge. She takes the dogs at her house, where they live with her dogs. It's super homey and loving. linnea [at] thedogduchess.com or linnea [at] rockridgepetcare.com

We love Doggy Lama! We've been taking our dog there for about 5 years. Whenever we travel, we drop off our dog at the sitter's house. He gets to go on daily hikes, and we get daily picture updates. They've been great about managing our dog's fussy diet (prescription food, and a mix of wet and dry). They're also good about limiting the group size for hikes and boarding, and the folks that work there are super sweet and experienced.

Hi! My very good friend Michelle has a pet care business. You can check it out here: https://www.yourhappypet.club/. She is extremely responsible and has watched my cat (elderly, in need of eye drops) in the past. She grew up around animals since her dad taught at a veterinary graduate program, so she is very comfortable and caring around all kinds of animals. I trust her completely. I think Michelle is open to a variety of arrangements, but she has a contact form on her website where you can reach her. Good luck in your search!
