Yellow House Playschool: New programs for toddlers!

Yellow House Playschool has been in existence for more than 40 years, providing a loving and safe place for children to grow and learn. It has evolved over the years from a small program serving children from infancy through toddlerhood, to a larger program, serving children between the ages of two and five years. Through all the changes we have never wavered from our commitment to provide the best possible environment and practices for little ones.

YHP is evolving, yet again, into a wonderful resource for parents and children. Starting in August we are offering facilitated playgroups, 1.5 hours in length, for children ages 18 months to three years. Children will attend with a caregiver, and Jan, YHP director, will facilitate each class providing guidance and encouragement.

YHP’s beautiful play yard, covered outdoor classroom, and cheerful indoor play spaces will all be available for your child to enjoy and explore. Community circle, messy art, sensory play, early literacy and math concepts, collaborative play, and most importantly, community building, will all be part of our time together.

If you are home with your child, looking for socialization opportunities, please consider us. If you have a wonderful nanny or committed grandparent who is caring for your child, this is a great shared opportunity for exploration and play.

Playgroups are scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please check out our updated YHP website for information regarding class dates and fees.

YHP will also be offering drop-in care on Mondays and Wednesdays . Our hours of operation are 8 AM to 4 PM. Details available on our website.
