Write On! Creative Writing: Summer Day Camps for Kids (7-13) Spots Available!

Abby Skrivan, veteran Albany Middle School English teacher, is running creative writing day camps this June! There's still room in the three different week-long sessions. With the goal of helping students (even reluctant ones!) enjoy writing, the camps are fun, student-centered and collaborative. Students will play group writing camps and write individually using models and interactive games for inspiration. Kids will edit and finalize one of their favorite pieces to put together in a magazine they will take home at the end of the week. Three am and pm (9am-noon or 1-4pm) sessions offered this summer: June 9-13, June 16-20 and June 23-27. Camps cost $275 for Albany families and $285 for non-residents.
