Winslow Tennis Academy: Kids Tennis Classes -- New Schedule

Winslow Tennis Academy's Classes for Kids and Clinics for Competitive Players are just now getting underway for the Fall semester.  We are conveniently located in El Cerrito.

We provide outstanding instruction on mechanics and technique and we keep kids moving, learning, and having fun.  We organize all our weekly kids classes by age group and skill range so that kids are in classes with their peers. Most classes still have room to join, and we keep our class sizes small for an excellent teacher-student ratio.

For our most advanced and competitive juniors we have clinics with Coach Alexander on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.  These clinics are physically and mentally rigorous, with focus on precise stroke technique and shot-making, growing our tennis IQ, playing winning doubles and singles, and footwork and conditioning.  Our competitive junior students become stronger competitors who win more points and more matches.  We have fun while getting after it.

SCHEDULE:

• Monday 4:30pm and 5:30pm -- experienced teenage players with Coach Alexander at Cerrito Vista;
• Monday 4pm and 5pm -- newer players ages 10-14 yr with Coach Aidan at Harding Park;
• Tuesday 4-5:30pm -- advanced 10-13 yr old players with Coach Alexander at Arlington Park;
• (pending: Tuesday classes for newer players ages 10-13 at Harding Park);
• Wednesday 3-4:30pm -- advanced 12-14 yr old players with Coach Alexander at Cerrito Vista;
• Wednesday 4:30-5:30pm -- advanced teenagers with Coach Alexander at Cerrito Vista;
• Wednesday 3:30-4:30pm -- our youngest players, ages 6-8, with Coach Ashara at Harding Park;
• Wednesday 4:30-5:30pm -- 8-11 yr old players with Coach Ashara at Harding Park;
• Thursday 4:30-6pm -- High School Varsity and 9th grade competitive players with Coach Alexander at Harding Park;
• Friday 4-6pm -- Our Junior Team matches against other local junior teams;
• Saturday 11am-1pm and 1pm-3pm -- High School Varsity and 9th grade competitive players with Coach Alexander at Harding Park;
• Saturday 1pm -- Drop-in classes for newer 11-13 year olds and for Teenagers
• Saturday 2pm -- Drop-in classes for our youngest players ages 6-8 and for 8-11 year olds, with our coaches at Cerrito Vista.

For private and semi-private lessons for kids, we do by arrangement and usually on Saturdays and Sundays.
