Pumpkin Seed Childcare: Schedule a Tour for a 4-day space available in June!
Pumpkin Seed Childcare is hosting daily tours for a space that will become available sometime in June 2024. The space is for 4 day/week care (M - TH).
Children can begin their voyage with us at 2 years of age, developing everyday skills in an age-appropriate setting, which can immediately be applied at home. We employ a play-based approach to learning, offering a balance of free play, both indoors and outdoors, with structured music, art, science, and educational activities. We offer healthy home-prepared meals and snacks. We dance and sing, enjoy puppet shows, daily neighborhood walks, a backyard garden, lots of art projects, and building community - and we do potty train! And when our kids venture off to kindergarten at 5 they are emotionally, socially, and academically prepared. We’re proud that Pumpkin Seed graduates are thriving at many Oakland schools, including Chabot, Sequoia, Redwood Heights, Thornhill, Cleveland, Glenview, Joaquin Miller, and St. Paul's Episcopal to name a few. References are available upon request. We are a husband and wife team, proud to be in our twentieth year and we are licensed for up to 14 children. Our hours are 7:30 - 5:30, Monday - Friday.
