Mr. D's Music Club: Afternoons of Arts Enrichment for Homeschoolers
If you’re looking for a fun, creative outlet for your homeschooler this fall, The Creative Spaces at Mr. D’s Music Club might be a great fit.
Our program runs longer sessions than typical after-school activities — 2 hours each afternoon (with an extended option on Wednesdays) — which means kids really get the chance to dive into the arts, make friends, and build toward one exciting full-Saturday performance where every child shines.
Families can choose 1–4 days per week. Kids participate in singing, acting, dance, and art with professional teaching artists, in a supportive environment that’s focused on confidence and creativity (not perfection).
Many of our fall students are homeschoolers, and they’ve found the longer format gives kids the time to really settle into the experience. Parents have mentioned it’s hard to find programs like this that offer extended afternoons.
Trial classes are available through September 25, and full registration closes September 26.
Location: Holy Names High School, Oakland
All kids are welcome. No prior experience or formal training necessary.
