Classes offered monthly

Childbirth Prep: 6 week series 

We cover all our material in depth in this six week, 15-hour class. This is our fan-favorite, tried and true childbirth prep course, that’s been supporting families for decades!

Understand stages of labor and physiologic birth.
Practice breathing, labor positions, comforting touch, support techniques (massage, relaxation, visualization), verbal support and more.
Get prepared to work as a team with your partner and communicate with your care providers
Learn how to make informed decisions about your care - including wise use of pain medication

Includes an additional free lactation class with East Bay Lactation

Community building is at the heart of this class: you’ll have lots of opportunities to connect with the other parents. We do a reunion after all the babies arrive!


Childbirth Intensive 

Immerse yourself in the basics of childbirth with a 5-hour, fast-paced class.

Get an overview of the stages of labor
Practice comfort measures & labor positions
Discuss birth choices, wise use of pain medication and informed decision-making
Learn the highlights of postpartum recovery.

We recommend combining this class with our Comfort Measures workshop for robust 4th Trimester prep!


Comfort Measures 

Practice makes perfect! Get prepared for labor with this 4 hour workshop all about hand-on practice. It is perfect for folks who want to build a big toolkit of comfort techniques! We’ll cover

Baby’s position & how it relates to labor
Relaxation techniques: massage, breathing, visualization, and touch
Labor positions (with props!)
