Writer and Fulbright Scholar Available for Tutoring: Academic Writing, Creative Writing, College Essays

I am a creative writer who recently finished a Fulbright Journalism Grant in Germany. I began tutoring while earning my MFA in creative writing at California Institute of the Arts and have since helped high school and college students write academic essays, college essays, short stories, novels, screenplays, artist statements, and grant applications.

After ten years as a writer and five years as a tutor, I have a wide range of knowledge and tools that I can offer my students. There are many ways to approach writing and learning and one of my priorities is to work together with my students to identify which systems and writing approaches work best for them. As a former social worker who previously provided mental and behavioral health counseling to middle and high schoolers, I excel at identifying young people's strengths and providing tailored support to meet their needs.

My end goal is always to make my students more confident writers!
