Math Tutor Available (K-9) -- former math teacher will make math fun and accessible!

Hi -- I'm Nora (she/her). I am a former 7th grade math teacher and private math tutor. I LOVE math and can help make it fun, accessible, and exciting for kids.

I have a BA from Yale University, an M.Ed. from American University, and am currently pursuing an MSW from Smith College School for Social Work. I taught math right after college and then worked in the education non-profit world for a decade before deciding to become a therapist. 

I love supporting with middle school math but can tutor all ages. I especially love working with girls on math because they so often get told that they're bad at it or that it's scary, and that is not true!

I'm available for short-term or longer-term support, enrichment or catch-up, online or in-person.
