Tutoring is a partnership.   We’ll decide together the best use of time, such as revisiting old material, working on HW problems, making test corrections, and practicing test-taking skills.

What sets me apart from other math tutors is my counseling background which I use to build confidence, establish rapport, teach self-reflection, reduce anxiety, and enjoy our time together.  Parents tell me they wish they had contacted me earlier.

I tutor in a few locations: in my Emeryville condominium library, by Zoom, or at a convenient coffee shop or library.  My rate is $85/hour.
