Hi! My name is Oscar Thompson, I am a dedicated math tutor, Berkeley native, and musician, with a passion for teaching and a strong background in mathematics. 

With less than two years away from completing my math degree at Cal State East Bay, I bring a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and techniques. I am well-versed in various branches of mathematics, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus. No matter the level of math your child needs assistance with, I am fully equipped to guide them through the subject with clarity and enthusiasm. One of my strengths is working with neurodivergent individuals, I adapt my teaching methods to suit each student's individual needs, ensuring that they grasp the concepts effectively.

Having worked in Alameda and Solano counties, I have gained valuable experience working with diverse groups of students. I have a proven track record of establishing a positive rapport with children, fostering their confidence, and helping them achieve remarkable results. My goal extends beyond teaching math; I strive to instill a genuine love for the subject in each student I work with.
