Language Arts Tutor Who Gets Tangible Results! (ADHD Okay)

Hello, and welcome to my Berkeley Parents Network site!

I am a seasoned Literary Arts professional (developing and producing theater), and an experienced tutor, from 3rd grade to High School with tangible results! I can help your student sharpen and deepen their capacity as a writer, as well as inspire reluctant (or refusing) students to write - everything from paragraphs, essays, and/or creative pieces. I can also dramatically improve reading skills and phonological awareness, including comprehension, vocabulary acquisition, and improved/renewed confidence.  I also support parents in gaining help for IEP's at school. Additionally, I offer support for students diagnosed with ADHD. 

My tutoring style is personalized to the individual’s needs, relational and process-oriented, and makes use of assessment, tutorial, and fun interactive projects. I also use humor and play to lighten the mood and make the sessions fun - and strongly encourage and teach self-help techniques. I excel at finding creative solutions for those with learning differences, and those who are struggling with specific issues.
