I love to help struggling readers

Hi Mom & Dad! I have 3 1/2 years of paid and volunteer experience helping struggling readers achieve grade-level literacy. I tutor using the Orton-Gillingham-based multisensory phonics program. I am also experienced in tutoring the Barton Reading & Spelling System, which is specifically geared towards students with or exhibiting symptoms of dyslexia. I am also certified as a tutor in Tattum Reading and have trained in other O-G programs, including Wilson Reading System and Lindamood-Bell. I am patient and supportive with struggling readers, but also focused, persistent, and successful in achieving results. If your child is exhibiting symptoms of dyslexia, or just struggling or behind grade-level in reading and writing, let's discuss how I can help. I recommend three 50-minute sessions per week. My rate is $40 per session, with progressive discounts for packages of 20, 40, 60 sessions. I'm happy to provide a testimonial from a current student's parent.
