Fun & Socially Distant Drum Lessons Offered!

Hi there, I am offering socially distant drum lessons in the Berkeley and Lamorinda area.  I am a 24 year old Psychology Student at UC Berkeley, and I have over 10 years of experience drumming in concert bands, the UC Jazz Program, and in jam bands.  I can help your child improve their drumming technique, musicianship, and technical playing ability to reach the next level.  In lessons I typically play bass or standard guitar to help the student orient to the groove we are developing, and then hop on the set to demonstrate difficult parts.  We will work through challenging songs and technical grooves by mastering the basics and building up. I find lessons to be fun, rewarding, and a great way to instill a love for music.  I have experience in Rock, Jazz, Pop, Metal, Punk, and Latin styles (Bossa Nova, Samba, etc) and I would be happy to help your child develop their musicianship in any one of these areas.  My rate is $35 an hour.  To be Covid-19 safe, students and I will maintain 6 feet of distance and wear masks at all times.  Please don't hesitate to contact me for more information or to set up a lesson.  Thanks so much!  I hope to hear from you soon.
