I am a native speaker (from the South of Belgium) and have worked as a French teacher for 24 years in a wide variety of contexts: three countries, elementary school through college (Sonoma State, SF State, and UC Berkeley) and adult classes, group classes and tutoring... I have been working at San Francisco University High School for ten years, not only as a French and social issues instructor but also as an advisor and class dean and I hold several degrees in languages and literature (with a focus on African and Caribbean texts in French) as well as a teaching credential.
