Who I Am

• Retired credentialed Language Arts & History teacher of 32 years
• Taught students on IEPs or with learning disabilities, English Language Learners, struggling, and advanced learners
• Literacy coach: assess and teach students who have not yet reached proficiency in reading and writing.
• I tutor on a regular or as-needed basis, either online or in-person
• Fee: $80/hour

I work with the student's identified homework goals or learning gaps to customize the best way I can support their success. My focus is:

• Writing essays, organization, development, writing skills
• Reading skills, comprehension
• Critical thinking skills
• Vocabulary
• Organizational skills and strategies
