Experienced native French and K-9th tutor

Hello! Bonjour!

I am Maissa, a student at UC Berkeley studying Computer Science. I have been tutoring students of all ages for more than 4 years across different subjects including math, english, science, ap test, and more. However, I have a focus on French and Math. I have tutored from elementary math to Pre-Calculus. I am a French native speaker, and I have  from complete beginner to AP/SAt French. I have helped many students improve their grades and receive a high score on the AP and SAT French test .

I teach lessons that are truly tailor made to my student. The way I teach will be informed by them and their ability, and where they are in their development of academic thinking.

I aim to do much more than just increase grades. I aim to inspire, increase confidence and show that anyone can learn and succeed with the right tools.  

 I am mostly virtual, and I charge on a sliding scale. For virtual $45-$65. I have some in person spots available for East Bay and San Francisco, at $50 - $80.
