Experienced Music Teacher Available

I am a Bay Area musician currently accepting new students on Guitar, Drums and Music Production. I currently teach 5 students ages 6 to 11 on Tuesday afternoons. I currently have openings on Thursday afternoons.

I earned a BA in classical composition in 2001 with an emphasis on electro-acoustic music and an MFA in electronic music from California Institute of the Arts in 2010. I am an independent music producer currently based in the Bay Area and I regularly perform with several ensembles. 

I love sharing my passion for music with students and helping them achieve their goals! I encourage my students to develop creativity and self expression. I always meet students wherever they are in their musical journey, as a brand new beginner or as a seasoned musician looking to build new skills.

As a young person, I grew my self-confidence and self esteem through my music. I seek to instill these values of creativity and personal growth in the young people I work with.

I am now accepting new students from ages 6 to 12.

I teach from my studio here in Berkeley and can travel to you in the Berkeley area.  I also teach via Zoom.
