Experienced and Patient Tutor and College Counselor in all subjects, accepted in Medical School

Hello! 

My name is Yousif and I am currently in my 4th year at UCLA. In undergrad, I majored in Neuroscience and I will be pursuing an MD next year after finishing my research at UCLA, UCI, and completing the application process. I am an enthusiastic, patient, and approachable teacher who wants to provide students with opportunities to deepen their understanding of important subjects and succeed in their courses. I have been tutoring for the last 5 years, and teach a an Alzheimer’s course at UCLA while also running a non-profit. As a long-time student, my goal is to create a space for everyone to ask questions, test their understanding, build confidence, and sharpen their problem-solving skills, especially during online learning. Furthermore, I focus on teaching my students and developing intangible skills that allow them to thrive not just in the classroom, but outside of it.
