Credentialed elementary classroom teacher offering reading intervention and support

One on one, in person, reading support is available to a limited number of students in the Bay Area, with preferences given to those residing in Contra Costa County.

Your child will benefit from the combined experiences and resources of a classroom teacher and a private intervention specialist. With over fifteen years of experience working with students at all levels of fluency and comprehension I have a cornucopia of tools in my teacher’s belt to tailor the intervention to specific needs of each student. Whether you are looking for your child to catch up, go beyond what is expected or to keep engaged in structured reading activities, your child will benefit from the services offered.

Being both a classroom teacher and a private reading specialist, I have first-hand knowledge of specific gaps students have that prevents them from reaching the grade level reading goals and how to close those gaps so that students can excel.

The first step in the process of getting your child on track in reading is to schedule an assessment. It takes about an hour and a half to assess each child. The fee for the assessment and for each session is $150. Sessions are 45 min to 1hour long.

Space is limited and students will be accepted on a first come first served basis.
