I’m a rising sophomore at Skidmore College studying English and dance, and I’m looking to tutor students ages 5 and up in reading, writing, and literacy-related subjects. I've previously worked as a camp counselor, have experience doing informal tutoring and essay revision for high school and college-age peers, and will be working at Skidmore’s Writing Center as a tutor this coming year. I received the college’s Candace Carlucci Backus first-year writing prize and am a member of the Honors Forum with a 3.95 GPA. I am also a recipient of the dance department’s DiSanto Memorial Award to support my independent studies of disability theory and accessibility in dance. In high school, I earned 5’s on both the AP Literature and AP Language & Composition tests, and am comfortable assisting students in standardized test preparation in addition to reading and writing support.

In addition to English, I speak both Spanish and Hebrew, and I love creative projects of all sorts, whether I’m doing dance improvisation or arranging music for a vocal ensemble! I have a student-centered approach and am passionate about sharing the joy I find in learning with others.

I'll be staying with family in Berkeley this summer and am available for in-person or virtual sessions with flexible and competitive rates. Please reach out for more information; I'm happy to provide references and/or writing samples.
