Berkeley Community Tutor – with lead tutor Kevin Arnold – has provided effective tutoring and coaching sessions for over 20 years, and helped hundreds of students successfully fine-tune and realize their academic goals.
Currently, I'm accepting new students who want to improve their Executive Function or Persuasive Writing skills, as well as those who need general Academic Coaching.
Also, I work with many students seeking to craft genuinely effective essays for their College Applications and those seeking College Counseling.
As a professional tutor, I'm dedicated to helping students learn how to self-direct their educational pathways. With my natural affinity for connecting with students on both a personal and intellectual level, we forge this academic path together with flow and ease.
My Methods and Philosophy: Over time, I've learned that effective tutoring is more than knowing a subject; it's knowing how to connect with students and teach in a relaxed and engaging way. These methods inspire them to feel inspired, which allows my students to learn a new and often complex academic skill or subject.
