Hello Berkeley Parents!

My name is Tyler. I am a recent UC Berkeley graduate. I just received my BA in psychology, with honors distinction (involving extra coursework and research these) and a 3.97 GPA. However, historically I have been a very poor student. Middle school and high school were a struggle, to say the least. With that said, college was never in the plan for me. With time though, I realized I wanted to work with people in a counselor setting and gave school another shot. This time, however, I gave it as much effort as possible. I was able to overcome many hurdles that are common for students. I aspire to gain admission into a clinical Ph.D. program. But for now, I help students recognize opportunities, acquire motivation, and develop the emotional intelligence required to succeed in academia.
