Tinkergarten

Tinkergarten is an online platform launched in 2015 that provides online training and support to adult "leaders" who organize 1-hour weekly outdoor classes at local parks for children and their parents.  Tinkergarten classes range in price depending on locality and session length, but typical costs in the Bay Area are from $180 to $275 for an 8 or 10 week session. Per the website, Tinkergarten leaders are paid between $300 and $1000 for an 8-week session. Leaders also pay a one-time certification fee of $200.
