Does anyone have a recommendation for an honest car mechanic near the Dimond/Fruitvale district? We have an old beater Toyota Tacoma truck that needs some attention. Our previous mechanic retired. Will tavel further for the right mechanic!

I have a Subaru and have taken it to Torchio's 2344 Webster St Oakland, CA 94612-3116 (510) 451-3272. Mike, the owner, has found ways to fix things without having to order entire new assemblies, a process many dealers employ. Give him a try Stu
