I can not recommend Julia Hom enough! My daughter started with Julia when she was just over three months and stayed with her until we moved out of the area. Now at our new home, I fear that we will never find someone that we trust and love as much as Julia. She is simply the best.
Julia Hom provides a clean, safe, loving environment for children to learn. She genuinely cares about the development of each individual child and their needs. She keeps the area where the children play and learn not just clean, but spotless. Julia feeds the children nutritional homemade meals, with fresh ingredients. Every morning my daughter would beam at Julia when she greeted her, and she was always just as calm and happy when I pick her up later. Simply put, my daughter just loved being there. Julia is patient, and loving, and appears to have endless energy. She treats them like family. Julia goes above and beyond her ''job'' because she truly cares about the children.

My wonderful daycare provider, Julia Hom, has openings for an infant or toddler now and for Fall 2013. Her daycare is in her home, off Lincoln Avenue above MacArthur near Sequoia Elementary School.
My 2 year old daughter has been going to Julia's since she was 4 months old. I am a first-time parent and have been very happy with her care there. Julia is extremely reliable and capable, and cares very much for the kids. Her home is cheerful and has lots of areas for the kids to play. She keeps the home extremely clean.
She has lots of books and toys for the kids to play with, provides reading and music time, and provides outside play and home-cooked meals and snacks. Julia is warm and loving and patient with the children. Julia has been providing daycare for the past 20 years. She also speaks both Mandarin and English. My husband and I do not speak Mandarin, but our 2 year old now understands and speaks a little!
When our daughter was a baby we used cloth diapers and Julia had no problem with that. We also used some EC methods and sign language for early potty training and Julia was willing to help with that, too.
I would highly recommend Julia to anyone looking for a small family daycare! Julia's house is truly our daughter's second home.

My wonderful daycare provider, Julia Hom, has an opening for an infant or toddler. Her daycare is based in her home, which is located near Sequoia Elementary School off Lincoln Avenue. My son was under Julia care from when he was 4 months old until he turned 3 in April and started preschool in May. I am a first-time parent and I was very happy with our experience at Julia's. Julia is extremely reliable and capable, and cares very much for the kids under her care. There are lots of books and toys for the kids to play with, she provides music and reading time, and outside play time. She cooks both breakfast and lunch, and also provides a healthy afternoon snack. Her home is always clean. Julia is warm, loving, and patient with the children. She has 18 years of experience. Julia also speaks Mandarin. I would highly recommend Julia to anyone looking for a small family daycare!

Hi everyone! I would like to recommend my daycare provider. She is amazing! Her name is Julia Ho. My toddler goes there twice a week and absolutely loves it! Julia plays with them and teaches them numbers and colors. It is like a second home for my baby! A couple of toddlers just left to go to preschool so she has a couple of openings. Joelle

Julia is a very capable person, and totally reliable. Her home is extremely clean and cheerful, with lots of areas for the kids to play. My excellent daycare provider, Julia Hom, will have openings for an infant or toddler in Fall 2010. Her daycare is in her home, which is alway very clean and cheerful. She is in Oakland just off Lincoln Avenue above MacArthur. My daughter has been going to her care starting at age 4 months, and I trust her completely! A few of the kids, including my daughter, will be attending preschool in Fall 2010, so she will have openings. The kids enjoy stories, singing/dancing, outside play and homecooked healthy lunches and snacks (including vegetables). My wonderful daycare provider, Julia Hom, has an opening for an infant or toddler in her clean, cheerful, well organized home daycare in Oakland just off Lincoln Avenue above MacArthur. All three of my children have been in her care starting at ages 6m, 4m, and 3.5 months. She was saving a space for another parent\x92s second child, but that parent decided to stay home with her new baby.
