Audrey Kossak is closing her daycare in June 2018 and moving out of state.
This was the perfect place for our son, our family, our schedule and location. Audrey's whole vibe is so patient, calm, positive and nurturing. This is what childcare should look like when kiddos are little - loving and warm. All of the other caregivers, Brittany, Nicole and Isabel, are also just as wonderful. Our son was only there 2 sometimes three days per week and still thrived and learned and grew so much from the experience. We started our son here around 1 1/2, until he went to preschool just before 3 years old. We also made some wonderful friend connections as parents with other parents, especially when getting to meet and mingle around holidays (Audrey would have little parties in the evening with food and festivities). This place was really a dream and we are hoping that when our second, due Jan 2018, is around 1 1/2 there will be room for her. ; ) Love you, Audrey's Nest!
After about 1.5 years of having our two children receive the BEST care at Audrey's Nest, I am very comfortable highly recommending this very special in-home daycare. Our oldest child received care from 18 months till almost 3 years old when we switched him over to preschool. Our youngest has been at Audrey's for the last 6 months (since he was 14 months old). For a few months Audrey was looking after both of our very active boys!
Audrey is kind and patient and really takes the time to get to know each child. She is very educated on child development and pays attention to each child's individual needs and helps foster growth in those areas. Both my kids love going to Audrey's Nest and I always have felt 100% comfortable with them under her and her assistants care. We used to live in Oakland 5 minutes away from Audrey's Nest. We moved to Alameda about a year ago and never even considered giving up our spot at Audrey's!
