Ginger's Tuolumne Packing List

Food (updated 2022): I no longer recommend bringing food and snacks for the cabin. You'll be well-fed at camp. Any food you keep in  your cabin will need to go into bear boxes at night. Plus, it may be so hot that you must keep your food on ice, which is inconvenient. For happy hour, there is a nearby convenience store you can drive to for beverages and snacks, and the camp store has snacks too. If you want to bring beer, wine, and alcohol with you, you could bring a small ice chest, but don't count on the camp store having ice every day!

  • Early in the summer: there will be mosquitos
  • Late in the summer: it will be hot
