Looking for recommendations for a men's barber located somewhere between Oakland and El Cerrito, for an older man. Transit accessible a plus. Looking more for a traditional barber and less for hair styling.

My husband really likes his barber, BL, 510–253–9996 for text or calls. He has many years of experience, and is friendly and honest. He left his salon job during the pandemic and is now is a mobile barber -- he will come to you with all his supplies.

Louie at Cuttin' Up on College (near Trader Joe's). About 5 blocks from Rockridge BART. He shares a shop with his mom, who cuts my hair. Over the years, I've seen a range of customers in his chair, many of them many times. He clearly knows what he's doing. 510 652 1889 Good luck.

Look no further than the Grand Barbershop on San Pablo in El Cerrito. My son went to Rosa for several years, she is great with kids and adults as well. It's an old school place run by Jerry and his daughter Laura. Very reasonably priced and accessible to public transit--a short walk to BART and right near a bus stop.
