Seeking soccer and/or volleyball team for a middle schooler

Our child is a 7th grader at a private school and is interested in soccer as an afterschool sport and possibly volleyball. We would appreciate guidance and suggestions regarding soccer and volleyball teams/leagues in Berkeley for this age group. Thanks in advance!
